About Us
Melissa & David Colella, local farmers, raising farm kids.
We are the Colella’s. A Canadian and a North Jersey Italian, who moved to Central Jersey for a calmer lifestyle.
We moved to our farm in 2021, getting away from the hustle and bustle of the New York metro area. We are raising two beautiful kids with a mindset of getting outdoors, getting dirty and working hard for what we raise, grow and eat.
Here at Colella Farms, we are using what the earth gave us to bring joy to your life. This may come in many different ways through the nature based products we create, the wood we cut or the crops we grow. We are by no means expert farmers, but we are willing to work hard and do a lot of googling along the way to figure out how to make it work. Stick around to learn with us!

Our Packaging
We try as much as possible to reduce the amount of landfill items in our shipments.
Paper based products can be used as kindling in your next fire. Remove the tape before using in your fire and discard tape in the garbage. If you are not using paper products for kindling, they can be recycled through your local recycling stream.
Glass and aluminum can be recycled through your local recycling stream. Curbside jar return coming soon!
Plastic packaging items can be recycled through your grocery store bag drop off.
